On Friday 18th October Colonel Frank Seely Sixth Form students supported Breast Cancer Campaigns biggest and pinkest fundraising event, Wear it Pink. The students went all out for Wear it Pink this year and raised a fantastic amount of £223.03 which will help continue to fund Breast Cancer Campaign’s vital and lifesaving research.
Mrs Mays, Headteacher at CFS says: “Our Wear it Pink day was a huge success and we are thrilled and proud to have been able to support Breast Cancer Campaign for another year. All the Sixth Form students thoroughly enjoyed becoming pink heroes for the day. We hope that next year they will be even pinker!”
Annabel Tompkins, Wear it Pink Senior Manager at Breast Cancer Campaign, said “A huge thank you to all the students and supporters at Colonel Frank Seely in Calverton for taking part in Wear it Pink this year. We are incredibly grateful for their support; it’s so great to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves and all in the name of breast cancer research. Their invaluable donation and support will help us achieve our goal of continuing to fund lifesaving research to improve treatment and ultimately to find a cure for breast cancer.”
