Deputy Headteacher – Retirement

After a long and successful career as a school leader at Colonel Frank Seely Academy, Mr Kurylec will be retiring at the end of this half term. Pupils, staff and parents would all want to wish him a very happy retirement and express our thanks for all that he has helped us achieve.

Mr Kurylec joined the school in September 1993 as Deputy Headteacher. He has given 23 years of dedicated service to the school in which he has led the school as Acting Headteacher on three separate occasions whilst also being a School Governor.  He has continued to guide the school through school improvement planning, curriculum developments and raising standards of pupil achievement. He has been a loyal, dedicated and passionate member of the school’s Leadership Team from the first day he was appointed up until the final day of his career.

During his career he always had time for individual pupils and colleagues and celebrates their successes.  Past pupils who return to visit Colonel Frank Seely often call to thank Mr Kurylec for his support, advice and guidance.

We would like to wish Mr Kurylec a long, happy and well deserved retirement.
