CFS staff running the Virgin Money London Marathon

On Sunday 23 April two members of staff at Colonel Frank Seely Academy in Calverton are taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon.

Headteacher Mr Gale and Mr Ray, Behaviour Support Assistant are running in aid of the Children with Cancer charity.

Mr Gale said “I’m running to raise money and awareness for a special charity who give hope and support to families when they need it most. Children with Cancer UK funds life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and works to protect young lives through essential welfare and campaigning programmes. Any support that our school community can make to help raise funds to further support their work would be greatly appreciated”

Donations can be made at

Alternatively, loose change can be placed in the charity bucket which will be bought around the school by Sixth Form students.
